Service

To promote conflict resolution and develop unity, peace and understanding based on Islamic values, amongst Muslims and in the wider community.

    ".. Obey Allah and His Messenger and do not quarrel with one another, or you may lose heart and your spirit desert you.. " (Quran 8:46)
We offer the following services to the general public through self-referrals and through referrals from professionals:

Mediation between couples, parents and children, siblings, friends and relatives -- what is mediation?

One-to-one support sessions for people experiencing personal, professional, familial or community disputes

Coaching sessions in effective communication skills for individuals experiencing personal, professional, familial or community conflicts

Training for individuals and organisations in conflict management, coaching in non-violent communication skills and mediation skills


What happens next?
If you are experiencing any kind of conflict or would like more information about the Muslim Mediation Service, you can contact our Case Officer Shahanara Begum or our Service Development Worker Halima Arif.

To arrange an appointment you can contact us from Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.

If you are self-referring to our service, our Case Officer will arrange for you to come into the office to discuss the issue further or you if you are more comfortable we can support you over the telephone or through email.
